It has been a couple days now since Microsoft released SP1 for Vista. I have installed it and had not seen any significant changes although the release notes list a whole bunch of updates. But here is what I’ve noticed so far:
- Transfering files is way faster now.
- Memory consumption went down. When idle my computer used to hang around at 40-44%, now it hangs around 29-30%.
- Everything seems to be a bit more “snappier.”
So far so good. I have to say, good job Microsoft. Just don’t mess up again with another OS release and IMPROVE INTERNET EXPLORER!!!!
Here are the download links if you did not update yet and I reccomend you do:
Vista 32Bit
Vista 64Bit
If you have to ask which version you got, then I suggest you get the 32bit version.

Seems as if I been on a shopping spree lately. New cellphone, new kicks and now new notebook! I bought a new Macbook (Black) because I will be mobile a lot now so I need to carry my work around with me. Since I am a web monkey, I need to design and develop websites to web standards on Mac and PC, this is good since I can also run Windows! I would of gotten a Macbook Pro but I wanted something small and this will not be my workhorse computer.
The Macbook is pretty sweet! I really didn’t like Macs before just because I was not used to the UI and probably the one I had in the office sucked really bad. But this one is just right! I got the latest one, with the new penryn chips, standard 250gb of hard drive space and 2GB of RAM. Here are the specs:

Last Friday, my Sidekick 3 finally died and I was pretty happy it did. I am not sure how it died but it just does not work anymore. It gave me so many problems that I was about to throw it off an overpass. This was my second Sidekick 3 because my first one had screen problems. Since I had the insurance plan, I got another Sidekick 3 which had more problems like with the backlight where it would not turn on when I was in the dark. The battery life also sucked and it felt like a brick in my pocket. So I went down to my local T-Mobile store and got a Blackberry Curve.
